My name is Gillian and I am the owner of Iced Creations Cakes.
I make stylish and elegant cakes for any special occasion, Wedding, Engagement, Christening or Birthday.
Why did I start my business
A few years ago I decided that I wanted to do something different. I had always loved baking, especially when I was younger. Signing up for a Sugar Craft Course one evening a week was the start of the change I needed, and it reminded me how much I loved being creative.
Fast forward to lockdown, and like so many I was made redundant. I realised very quickly that finding a new role in the business world wasn’t really what I wanted. I decided to follow my passion and take the plunge and Iced Creations Cakes was born.
“Every day is a learning day”
I can honestly say not a day goes by when I don’t learn something new. A new technique, creating a sugar flower or creating my own designs with royal icing. The list is endless and I enjoy every minute of it.
Making your cake is fun for me as I can create something bespoke that is based on your ideas. Any design will have the personal touch and create a lasting memory that will stay with you for many years to come.
