Prices & Portions
“How much will my cake cost?’ is a question I get asked regularly.
Wedding cake prices are dependent on a number of factors. The number of guests and cake servings required, the complexity of design and amount of sugar decoration and sugar flowers required.
The prices below will give you an approximate idea of what you can expect to pay. They are based on a plain buttercream or fondant finish, with ribbon, for the size of cake you require.
Specific design elements, toppers and sugar flowers will be additional cost.
Final prices will be provided after we have completed a full consultation of your requirements, and the final design has been agreed.
Please note the prices below do not include delivery and set up which will be included within your quotation.
Your cake will be one of the highlights of your Wedding Day and as such, I will ensure that it has my complete attention throughout its creation.

A question that I get asked a lot is “how much cake do I need”?
Whilst generally cakes are cut into triangle portions, traditionally, wedding and celebration cakes are cut into horizontal finger sized portions. It is a more efficient way to cut a cake. A cake that would normally cut into 8 triangle portions would easily cut into 20 finger portions.
The difference is the size of the slice. The average height of a cake is around 4” – 5”. Wedding cakes are cut into 1” x 1” portions. Celebration or desert cakes are cut into 2” x 1” portions.
The chart below will help you calculate the size of cake you would need. The cake would be cut based on a visual calculation of about an inch square, so it is best to be cautious when calculating the amount you need. Its always better to have a few extra portions available rather than not enough.
